The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, supervision, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in construction projects. The role covers HVAC systems, plumbing, drainage, fire protection systems, and related building services, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

• Lead the design review and implementation of mechanical building services systems.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors during project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance.
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and procurement processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.
• Ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Evaluate contractor performance and certify completed works.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, and mechanical design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering software.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in construction or real estate projects.
