Medical Nutritionist

Job Summary

Responsible for providing nutrition assessment, counseling, education, and dietary support to patients in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' nutritional needs.
• Develop appropriate nutrition and dietary plans within professional scope.
• Provide individual and group nutrition counseling.
• Educate patients on healthy eating and disease-related nutrition.
• Monitor patients' nutritional progress.
• Work with clinicians and other healthcare professionals on patient-care plans.
• Maintain accurate nutrition and patient records.
• Conduct nutrition education and health-promotion activities.
• Participate in community nutrition initiatives where required.
• Keep up to date with relevant nutrition practices and professional standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant recognized qualification in Human Nutrition and Dietetics/Nutrition.
• Appropriate professional registration/licensing where applicable.
• Strong counseling and communication skills.
• Patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Work Hours: 8
