The brain child of Prakash Patel, a talented pharmacist who migrated to Kenya in 1958. He quickly realised the fact that almost all medicine was being imported from abroad. Good medicine was expensive and out of the reach of the majority who were low and middle income earners. This led to the formation of Cosmos and a dream to manufacture quality and affordable medicines locally. Job Summary

Responsible for veterinary medicines sales and marketing, collections and overall customer service satisfaction in the Nyanza Region

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing Sales and Marketing action plans to achieve set qualitative and quantitative targets.
  • Identifying and recruiting new customers.
  • Identifying Business Growth Areas for existing portfolio
  • Distributor Account Management
  • Technical Product Trainings to the Distributor Technical Staff and animal health professionals. Collation and Preparation of Monthly Sales, Cumulative Sales performance and Product performance reports.

Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Animal Health or Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery with a maximum of 3 years' experience in Veterinary Pharmaceutical sales.
  • Licenced and Retained (2026) by the Kenya Veterinary Board. Strategic thinker

Competencies

  • Great interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer management
  • Creativity, Adaptability, ability to multitask
  • Ability to research on market trends
  • Computer Literacy Le. Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.
