Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH) is a leading National Referral Hospital with a 650 bed capacity and equipped with state-of-art medical amenities. The hospital is well equiped to offer Oncology, Trauma & Orthopedics, Renal among other services. The Hospital is located along Northern Bypass Rd. near Kahawa West, Nairobi

Responsibilities or duties

To deliver high-quality teaching and assessment through lectures, seminars, and supervision, while providing academic leadership in curriculum development, student evaluation, and learning strategies, supporting student success, and fostering effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the Institute’s academic objectives.

Qualifications or requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN) or its equivalent, in an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of Kenya. A Higher Diploma in Nursing or a Master's degree in Medical Surgical Nursing will be an added advantage. Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya. Valid practice license from the Nursing Council of Kenya. Proficiency in computer applications. Compliance with Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.

Experience needed

At least three (3) years work experience in Medical Surgical Nursing.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
