We seek a mixologiest to craft and serve high-quality classic and signature cocktails while delivering exceptional guest experiences at the bar. The role ensures the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and compliant with health and safety standards. The mixologist will play a key role in beverage innovation, upselling, and contributing to the overall success of the food and beverage operation through creativity, product knowledge, and attentive service.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of classic, signature, and custom-crafted cocktails with precision and consistency.
- Engage guests with a welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional demeanor, providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and aesthetics of the bar area in line with hygiene and brand standards.
- Monitor and restock bar inventory proactively, ensuring par levels are maintained and stock variances are minimized.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared and served in compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
- Upsell premium spirits, wines, and cocktails to maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the F&B team and Chef to develop seasonal menus, signature drinks, and promotional offerings.
- Accurately record guest orders, process transactions, and manage cash or POS systems as per company procedures.
- Participate in regular trainings and tastings to stay current with mixology trends, new ingredients, and presentation styles.
- Handle guest feedback or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating where necessary to maintain service standards.
- Support the overall F&B team during peak service periods and events, maintaining flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Food & Beverage Service, Hospitality, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of bar or mixology experience in a hotel or high-end lounge.
- Certification in Mixology or Bar Management is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to address challenges proactively and effectively.
- Creativity and attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
