JOB DETAILS:

​​About the role:

• We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security Team, which provides intelligence on hacking of Sun King devices that in turn helps us strengthen and expand the digital and financial inclusion of our customers.
• As an Engineer, you will be providing support and testing Sun King devices for security flaws, particularly mobile phones. Physically performing hardware vulnerability reviews of various mobiles, IoT and automotive devices, writing custom Proof-of-Concept code and carrying out internal penetration testing against applications and assisting with internal red teaming engagements.
• As an ethical hacker, in this role your principal mission will be to identify security loopholes in various vendor smartphones and advise on security considerations.

What you would be expected to do:
Identifying information dissemination channels:

• Perform reconnaissance and test various hacking solutions available over the internet (Dark web, Forums etc).
• Work with risk to absorb the results of customer visits and field audits. Do sample field audits with risk.

Testing available jailbreaks

• Standardize phone model testing procedures by creating a model level security risk report by testing parameters
• Periodic security review of phone models by creating the above report on a regular basis.
• Help in creating MDM policy and review on a regular basis.
• Periodically test the devices with the latest patch/fix provided by vendors

Creating detection solutions

• Work on Tampering Detection solutions for Android devices.
• Suggest firmware upgrades to programs team for implementation by MDM providers and/or Android team 

You would be a strong candidate if you:

• Possess deep understanding into Android mobile phones - Hardware, Firmware and OS level.
• Are an expert in phone security bypass testing not limited to flashing, Mobile device management- MDM bypass, Factory Reset Protection - FRP bypass, original equipment manufacturer - OEM bypass, motherboard tampering etc.
• Have hands on experience with various testing tools like Chimera, Pandora, Infinity or any other similar.
• Have previous experience with Samsung, Nokia, Techno Pop, Itel, Infini smartphones is preferred.
