MOMBASA YOUNG MOTHERS Stylish Hub is hiring. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team.

Job Purpose

To provide professional manicure, pedicure and nail-care services while ensuring excellent customer service, hygiene, creativity and high-quality results.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Nail Technician will:

• Welcome clients and establish their preferred nail services.
• Provide professional manicure and pedicure services.
• Clean, shape and maintain fingernails and toenails.
• Apply nail polish, gel polish and other appropriate nail products.
• Perform nail art and decorative designs according to client preferences.
• Apply and remove artificial nails and extensions using appropriate techniques.
• Recommend suitable nail-care products and routines.
• Inspect nails and surrounding skin for conditions that may require professional medical attention.
• Avoid performing procedures where there are signs of infection or other contraindications and advise clients appropriately.
• Clean, disinfect and sterilise tools and equipment after each client.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation.
• Follow appropriate infection-prevention and safety procedures.
• Maintain adequate supplies of nail products and report shortages.
• Keep track of appointments and ensure timely service.
• Maintain professional and respectful relationships with clients.
• Keep up with current nail-care trends and techniques.
• Support promotional activities and customer-retention initiatives.
• Participate in training and professional development.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Hub Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate in Nail Technology, Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology or a related field is preferred.
• Practical experience in nail care is an advantage.
• Demonstrated skills in manicure, pedicure and nail art.
