As a Net Revenue Manager Sub-Saharan Africa, you will drive and embed Net Revenue Management across Sub-Sharan Africa and entire cross-functional organization, build commercial capability and be the business owner for the end-to-end strategic planning process. The successful candidate will also manage the NRM to deliver the net revenue strategy of the company with excellence and maximise salesforce effectiveness.
The individual will be connected into a Global, Regional, Area Commercial Excellence network to utilise winning market tools and materials to execute in Sub-Saharan Africa with bBetter, faster data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities

  • Set the right Gross to Net (G2N) principles in terms of planning, spending and reimbursement
  • Oversee the annual and quarterly trade spend planning process
  • Ensure the right budget deployment process for the sales team
  • Ensure the right customer engagement is in place including contracts, execution tracking, anddocuments for proof of execution
  • Track the actual spend vs plan monthly
  • Monitor and confirm actual settlement is as per the plan and on track
  • Oversee end to end (E2E) net revenue management (Pricing, Mix Management, Trade Investment and Promotion Management)
  • Work closely with Finance team for month and year end closing process and planning
  • Own the list price management process
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with commercial and category teams

Qualifications and skills Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
  • 7+years in a trade marketing, finance or sales function
  • Experience in trade spend management is preferred
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Strong influencing and communication skills
  • Ability to understand, use and leverage technology
  • People management experience
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • Excellent oral/written communications skills
  • Excellent computer skills (excel, world, powerpoint)
