Responsibilities or duties
The Network Administrator will be responsible for:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues to ensure optimal uptime and connectivity.
- Implementing and managing network security measures to protect against threats.
- Performing regular network backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Providing technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
- Documenting network configurations and procedures.
Qualifications or requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with network hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
- Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience needed
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration.
