Responsibilities

As a Nurse at Lighthouse Hospital, you will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and condition, and reporting any changes to the medical team.
• Educating patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhering to hospital policies and procedures, as well as professional nursing standards.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A valid nursing license in Kenya.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience is required.
