Background

The Jordan Hospital Kitui is a leading healthcare institution committed to providing excellent medical services. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Nutritionist to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

As a Nutritionist, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing patients' nutritional status and developing personalized nutrition plans.
• Providing dietary counselling and education to patients and their families.
• Preparing therapeutic diets tailored to specific medical conditions.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting nutrition plans as needed.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Food, Nutrition & Dietetics.
• Proven experience in dietary counselling.
• Experience in the preparation of therapeutic diets.
• A minimum of 2 years of working experience in clinical nutrition.
• Must be registered with the Kenya Nutritionists and Dietitians Institute (KNDI).

Level of Education: bachelor degree
