Job Description

  • The Officer, Trade Operations is responsible for the efficient and compliant execution of Trade Finance transactions. The role ensures that all Documentary Credits, Collections, Guarantees, and related Trade Products are processed accurately, in line with international standards, regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • The Officer acts as a key link between clients, internal stakeholders, and external counterparties, safeguarding the bank’s reputation while enabling smooth trade flows.

Qualifications

  • Type of Qualification: First Degree
  • Professional Certification: Certified Trade Specialist (e.g., CDCS, CTFP, or equivalent)

Experience Required

  • 2 - 3 years banking experience with at least one year in Trade Operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle complex customer queries.
  • A customer-centric individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Technology experience and the ability to work on processes, including on Microsoft applications
