The Oncology Tutor will coordinate paediatric oncology training by delivering theoretical and clinical instruction, assessing student performance, and ensuring curriculum compliance with Nursing Council standards. He/she will also Maintain clinical competence and contributes to quality improvement, audits, and research.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BscN),
- Higher National Diploma in Oncology/Paediatric Oncology nursing or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year working experience as a Tutor
- Certification as a TVET instructor is desirable and an added advantage.
- Certificate in any Paediatric Resuscitation skills will be an added advantage.
- Valid Nursing Council of Kenya Practice license.
- Nursing Council of Kenya Registration Certificate.
- Coordinate paediatric oncology training by delivering theoretical and clinical instruction.
- Assess student performance.
- Ensure curriculum compliance with Nursing Council standards.
