Qualifications

Diploma in Food Science and Technology or an equivalent qualification in a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quality Control (QC) role, preferably within a fresh produce packhouse or food processing unit

Familiarity with food safety and quality management systems such as BRCGS, GlobalG.A.P., HACCP is an added advantage

Strong understanding of grading and quality standards across a wide range of fresh produce products

Strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality and accurate records

Strong communication and supervisory skills.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
