Top Notch Management Services is a Human Resource Management Consulting firm based in Nairobi, Kenya. On behalf of our client a growing cleaning services company, we are seeking to hire for the position of an Operations/Manager/Business Development Executive to benbsp;based in Nairobi. The Operations Manager/Business Development Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cleaning services business while driving growth through client acquisition and relationship management. The role ensures efficient service delivery, proper supervision of cleaning teams, high service quality, and the expansion of the company’s customer base. This position is Ideal for motivated self-starters who thrive in start-up environments with diverse responsibilities

Job descriptions & requirements

Employment Type – Regular/full time

Proposed Start Date – April 2026

Key duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cleaning operations & staff supervision
  • Drive business development & acquire new clients
  • Promote cleaning equipment sales
  • Operate company vehicle during client visits & provide necessary logistical support as may be required from time to time.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise cleaners and team leaders
  • Manage work schedules, attendance, and performance.
  • Ensure staff follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and service contracts.
  • Conduct site visits, presentations, and negotiations with potential clients.
  • Monitor cleaning standards and ensure compliance with service agreements.
  • Implement improvements to increase efficiency and service quality
  • Prepare operational and sales reports.
  • Monitor operational costs, budgets, and profitability of contracts.
  • Maintain records of client contracts, staff deployment, and inventory.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Operations Management (preferred)
  • 3-5 years experience in operations/service industry
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record (mandatory)
  • Business development/sales experience
  • Strong leadership & communication skills
