Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Officer based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Operations Officer will be responsible for overseeing daily operational processes, ensuring efficient services, and managing resources to optimize workflows. Key tasks include monitoring and analyzing operational performance, implementing process improvements, collaborating with teams to streamline operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The role demands effective communication and strong organizational capabilities to facilitate smooth business operations.

Qualifications

Strong Operations Management and Analytical Skills to oversee and improve operational processes

Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and various stakeholders

Solid understanding of Finance and financial processes within a banking or microfinance context

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under deadlines

Prior experience in financial services or operations management is an advantage

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Familiarity with Central Bank regulations and compliance standards is a plus
