Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ophthalmic assessments and manage routine eye conditions
- Provide clear diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient education
- Perform SICS/Phaco procedures within approved scope (where credentialed)
- Conduct pre- and post-operative reviews
- Contribute to efficient and well-coordinated patient care through timely consultations, documentation, and communication with the clinical team
- Identify patients requiring surgical intervention and ensure clear clinical handover to the booking office
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, and quality improvement activities
- Support outreach and cross-site service delivery where required
Qualifications
Essential
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
- Higher Diploma in Ophthalmology (COC-accredited)
- Valid practicing license
Desirable
- SICS / Phaco certification
- BLS / ACLS certification
- Outreach experience
