About the Role

This is a fast-paced and challenging position that requires strong attention to detail, quick decision-making, and a high level of commitment to client service. The Payroll Associate is responsible for the accurate processing and recording of client payrolls while delivering exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage multiple client payrolls
  • Ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance
  • Understand and apply proper payroll taxation
  • Process wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies
  • Prepare accurate quarter-end and year-end reports
  • Generate ad hoc payroll reports for clients
  • Work across multiple payroll environments, including time & attendance systems
  • Resolve client inquiries related to payroll and payroll systems
  • Manage client projects and payroll workflows end-to-end
  • Respond to client calls and inquiries promptly
  • Deliver a high level of customer service, follow-up, accountability, and ownership

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • Strong phone presence and excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
