JOB DETAILS:
The Kenya National Examinations Council Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme 2011 is a Scheme that was set up under irrevocable trust. The Scheme is a defined contribution scheme and is duly registered with the Retirement Benefits Authority and Kenya Revenue Authority. The Trustees of the Scheme are seeking to recruit a Pensions Officer. The Officer will report directly and be answerable to The Trust Secretary of the Scheme.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a liaison between the Board of Trustees, Service Providers and Members of the Scheme;
  
• Ensure correct and up to date maintenance of scheme documentation;
  
• Assist the Trust Secretary in managing and coordinating Scheme related activities;
  
• Ensure prompt processing of member benefits and timely resolution of any queries;
  
• Liaise with the Council's Human Resources Management Division to ensure member data is up-to
  
• date and the same is provided to service providers;

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPITANCES
The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Actuarial Science, Commerce, Business Administration or any business-related discipline;
  
• Certificate in Computer Applications;
  
• At least one year post-graduation experience;
  
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
