Responsibilities or duties
- Set SMART Performance Goals: Instruct students on how to collaboratively set challenging yet attainable annual goals with employees that align with departmental objectives.
- Conduct Performance Appraisals: Design role-playing exercises where students practice providing structured feedback during formal review meetings.
- Develop Performance Improvement Plans: Guide students in creating PIPs for underperforming employees, detailing actionable steps and timelines for improvement.
- Implement 360-Degree Feedback: Teach the implementation process of multi-rater feedback systems and how to interpret the results for development.
- Link Performance to Pay: Instruct on the process of merit-based pay increases and bonuses tied to performance appraisal outcomes.
- Identify High-Potential Employees: Train students on using performance data and behavioral assessments to identify high-potential (HiPo) employees for future leadership roles.
