Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and hospital guidelines.
- Provide proper counseling to patients on medication use, dosage, and possible side effects.
- Ensure safe storage, handling, and inventory management of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate dispensing records and documentation.
- Monitor drug expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Adhere to pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and infection prevention standards.
- Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Valid registration and practicing license with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
