About the Opportunity

A community healthcare and retail pharmacy in Witeithie is looking for an experienced female Pharmacy Assistant to assist with daily dispensary support and counter service.

Role Overview & Scope

The Pharmacy Assistant will work alongside the lead pharmaceutical staff to receive patients, organize over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, assist with stock arrangement, and maintain pharmacy records.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assistance: Receive patients, assist with purchasing over-the-counter health items, and maintain a welcoming service counter.
• Stock & Shelf Management: Restock pharmacy shelves, clean display units, check expiration dates, and keep inventory organized.
• Operational Support: Support the dispensing team with packaging, filing daily records, and maintaining clean work stations.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Gender Eligibility: Female.
• Experience: Practical, hands-on experience working in a retail or community pharmacy environment.
• Core Attributes: Friendly demeanor, basic knowledge of common pharmaceuticals, reliability, and good record-keeping abilities.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
