About the Opportunity

A community pharmacy operating in Butere is seeking a dedicated, customer-oriented female Pharmacy Technologist to support retail pharmacy operations, patient counseling, and medication management.

Role Overview & Scope

The Pharmacy Technologist will oversee daily dispensing of prescribed medications, provide clear drug usage instructions to patients, manage inventory levels, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispensing & Counseling: Review prescriptions, accurately dispense medications, and advise patients on proper dosage, usage, and potential side effects.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor drug stock levels, track expiry dates, manage stock reconciliation, and assist with ordering pharmaceuticals.
  • Customer Care: Maintain a clean, organized counter environment and offer professional customer support to community patients.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

  • Gender Eligibility: Female candidates (as specified by employer requirements).
  • Professional Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Licensure: Registration / Enrollment with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) is preferred.
  • Attributes: High level of integrity, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
