PIZZA CHEF

Job Summary

The Pizza Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas while maintaining consistency, food safety, hygiene, and efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients.
• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, quality, and presentation.
• Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor cooking temperatures and food quality.
• Maintain proper food storage and minimise wastage.
• Keep the pizza station clean and organised.
• Follow food hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely orders.
• Monitor ingredient levels and report shortages.
• Assist with menu preparation and new pizza recipes where required.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of pizza preparation and cooking techniques.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good attention to detail and presentation.
• Team-oriented and reliable.
