H. Young & Co. (E.A) Ltd., a leading multidisciplinary engineering and construction company with a track record of delivering major projects across East Africa, is seeking to recruit experienced and qualified Plant Mechanics and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our growing team.
Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct routine and preventative inspections on machinery, identify faults, and diagnose issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Repair and Maintenance: Dismantle, repair, and replace faulty components, perform lubrication and servicing, and conduct major overhauls of industrial and plant equipment. Equipment Operation: Operate various industrial equipment, including machinery for repairs, while ensuring safe operating conditions. Safety and Documentation: Implement strong safety practices, such as Lockout/Tag-out (LOTO), and maintain accurate logs of all maintenance and repair activities. Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance planners, supervisors, and other personnel to schedule work and address plant issues.

A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field from a recognized technical or vocational institution
