To ensure the optimal performance and safety of all plumbing systems and fixtures within Kuku Foods restaurants. This role is crucial in maintaining the restaurants' operational efficiency, food safety standards, and overall cleanliness by performing both corrective and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Repair: Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of all plumbing systems, including sinks, drains, toilets, and water supply lines, to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce the risk of plumbing failures, including cleaning drain lines, inspecting fixtures, and checking for leaks.
  • Corrective Action: Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues swiftly and effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations during peak service hours.
  • Compliance: Ensure all plumbing work complies with health, safety, and local plumbing codes; maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside kitchen staff and management to address any plumbing-related issues that may affect operations or food service.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for on-call emergency plumbing repairs outside of regular working hours as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain logs of plumbing work performed, including repairs, maintenance tasks, and inspections for manager review.

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or relevant technical training is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a commercial or food service setting.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to plumbing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
