A professional who:
- Has strong project and program management capability
- Can run multiple initiatives simultaneously without losing control of detail
Additional Competencies We Value
- Strategic policy analysis and legislative interpretation
- Ability to translate complex policy into actionable industry positions
- Stakeholder diplomacy (public and private sector engagement)
- Grant budgeting and financial oversight for donor-funded programs
- Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework development
- Strong report writing and board-level briefing capability
- Event-linked policy programming (forums, roundtables, industry dialogues)
- Risk identification and mitigation in program delivery
- High-level presentation skills
- CRM and workflow tools proficiency (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, etc.)
- Strong commercial awareness (ability to align programs with revenue sustainability)
Academic Qualifications & Experience
KPDA is seeking a candidate with both intellectual rigour and practical execution capability.
Academic Qualifications
Applicants must hold a degree from a recognised university in one of the following disciplines:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics
- Degree or Master's Degree in Public Policy
- Degree in Research, Statistics, or related analytical discipline
Degrees in the Built Environment are an added advantage, including:
- Architecture
- Urban & Regional Planning
- Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Management
- Real Estate or related technical fields
Development Brings Development
A Master's degree in a relevant field will be considered an added advantage.
Diploma holders in the same fields with proven relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience Requirements
- Demonstrated passion for and familiarity with the real estate and built environment sector
- Experience working in policy research, legislative review, or advocacy environments
- Experience designing, coordinating, and implementing projects and programs
- Experience leading teams, supervising junior staff, or coordinating volunteers and committees
- Experience engaging public and private sector stakeholders
- Experience working within or alongside governance structures such as boards, working groups, or committees is desirable
- Experience in grant development, proposal writing, or donor-funded program management is an added advantage
