Position Overview
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics and Information Technology within the Prep School while simultaneously leading the boys’ boarding programme.
The role includes responsibility for delivering lessons aligned with the National Curriculum of England and Wales and ensuring effective care, leadership, and supervision of boarding students in Years 7 to 13 residing at the Treetops boarding house.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons.
- Deliver high-quality Information Technology lessons.
- Teach within the Prep School programme.
- Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
- Support student academic achievement.
- Contribute positively to teaching and learning outcomes.
- Foster an engaging learning environment.
- Promote student development and progress.
Boarding Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead the boys’ boarding programme.
- Provide duty of care to boarding students.
- Support the welfare and wellbeing of students in Years 7 to 13.
- Provide leadership within the boarding house.
- Maintain a safe and supportive boarding environment.
- Coordinate boarding activities and routines.
- Promote positive student behaviour and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with boarding and academic staff.
- Support the pastoral care framework of the school.
Requirements
The school welcomes applications from qualified teachers who possess:
- Experience leading a boarding team and the ability to demonstrate strong collaborative, organizational, and pastoral skills.
- The necessary skills, knowledge, and passion to continue providing pupils with a high-quality education in an international context.
- Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
