Job Summary:

Kenya Tradex is looking for a commercially sharp Pricing Executive to support competitive ocean, air, and land transport pricing, vendor rate management, and fast quotation turnaround for client enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare ocean, air, and land transport quotations with clear cost build-ups, margins, and validity dates.
• Maintain carrier, airline, transporter, co-loader, and vendor rates for FCL, LCL, air freight, local charges, and regional moves.
• Build complete quote files covering freight, origin/destination charges, inland transport, storage, customs-linked costs, and surcharges.
• Support RFQs, tenders, and spot quotes with accurate pricing, routing options, and rate comparisons.

Requirements:

• Pricing exposure in freight forwarding, shipping, air cargo, transport, co-loading, NVOCC, or logistics operations.
• Good freight and transport understanding, including incoterms, surcharges, routings, transit times, and cost components.
• Commercial discipline with attention to margins, validity, exchange rates, rate cards, and quote accuracy.
• Strong Excel and communication skills for rate sheets, customer quotations, vendor follow-up, and quote registers.
• Added Advantage: East Africa corridor and transporter knowledge; Project, cross-border, or customs-linked pricing.
