OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The position is responsible for teaching and while offering holistic development, proper discipline, appropriate skills and social abilities to enable optimum development of pupils.
The position provides responsibility for exam materials – report books, evaluation records, class register, record book, lesson note books, record of work, schemes of work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Implementation of integrated curriculum.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting student’s progress.
- In charge of school weekly duties.
- In-charge of class co –curricular activities
- Pastoral Care, Discipline, Guidance and Counseling
- A role model, mentor of other teachers and a guardian to pupils.
- Conduct any other duties assigned that is related to the profession.
Academic and Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of P1 Certificate from Kenya National Examination Council.
- Registered with the TSC.
- Must have solid training and experience in teaching Competence Based Curriculum (CBC).
- Proficiency in English & Kiswahili; both written and spoken and technologically savvy.
- Must be willing to work in any of MOHI’s Centers across the country.
