JOB DETAILS:

Mandera County continued to register positive progress anchored on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) despite challenges and the devastating effects of climate change, which saw prolonged dry spells followed by heavy rains and flooding.Floods displaced families, washed away crops and farming infrastructure and cut off roads. The resilience of our people was put to the test afresh.

Qualifications or requirements 

• Diploma in Medical Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent qualification from recognized institution. knowledge of good clinical laboratory practice.
• Be registered and in good standing with the association of medical engineers of Kenya.
• Shown outstanding administrative capability and professional competence required in managing livestock production services.
• Have capacity to multitask within strict timeliness with minimum supervision.

Experience needed

• At least ten (10) years’ relevant experience in a busy hospital and at least two (2) years’ experience in a senior position.

Member of the Audit Committee shall be appointed for a term of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further one term only.

Remuneration: This is not a salaried position; Allowances applicable shall be determined by the salaries and remuneration commission.

A person shall not be qualified for appointment as a Chair or a member of Audit Committee if the persons: -

• Is present or past employee of the County Government of Mandera.
• Have served as an employee or an agent of a business organization which has carried out business with County Government of Mandera for the last two years
