JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose:

Coordinate collaborative research programmes and provide technical mentorship.

Key Duties:

Review research protocols and supervise data collection; Prepare scientific reports and manuscripts; Disseminate irrigation innovations; Build partnerships with professional bodies; Monitor divisional work plans and budgets.

Person Specifications:

Bachelor's degrees in Agriculture, Civil/Agricultural/Water Engineering, Lab Technology, Environmental Science; Relevant professional registration; Minimum 8 years' experience, served as Senior Research Officer in NIA Grade 6 for at least 3 years or comparable; Supervisory Course (minimum 2 weeks); Core Competencies: Technical leadership, communication, mentorship, etc.
