Job Summary & Learning Scope
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Procurement Attachee to join our supply chain team. This role offers an exceptional hands-on learning opportunity for a candidate looking to build practical experience within the engineering sector. You will assist in daily sourcing activities, vendor evaluation, purchase order processing, and inventory tracking under the mentorship of senior procurement professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Requisitions: Assist in processing purchase requisitions, preparing requests for quotations (RFQs), and gathering vendor bids.
- Supplier & Inventory Support: Help maintain updated supplier databases, track delivery schedules, and support stock reconciliation processes.
- Documentation & Filing: Organize procurement files, invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders to maintain clear audit trails.
- Departmental Support: Collaborate with engineering and administrative teams to ensure materials and services are procured efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree or Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (or a related field) from a recognized institution.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of procurement lifecycle and inventory principles.
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
- High level of organizational ability, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
