About the Role

Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector, is seeking to hire a Procurement Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documents.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in CIPS or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in procurement or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
