Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement plans, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze expenditure and implement cost-control strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage the tendering process, including prequalification, RFP preparation, evaluation, and contract award.
- Supervise and support the procurement team to ensure efficiency and adherence to best practices.
- Utilize ERP and e-procurement systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in procurement, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Master's degree in a related field is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP and procurement systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity and understanding of ethical procurement practices.
