2. PROCUREMENT OFFICER (1 POST)
Ref No: MTVC/PROC/03/2026/02
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement and disposal activities in compliance with PPRA guidelines and Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act
- Prepare and implement Annual procurement plans
- Prepare tender documents, request for quotations, and contracts
- Maintain proper procurement records and supplier databases
- Ensure timely sourcing of goods, works, and services
- Serve as a secretary to the procurement/tender committee where applicable
- Ensure compliance with internal control systems and audit requirements
- Advise Management on procurement best practices and risk management
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a recognized university
- Must be a member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)
- At least three (3) years relevant work experience, preferably in a public institution
- Knowledge of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA) 2015
- Proficiency in ICT and Procurement management systems
