Background

Olokirikirai Senior School invites application from qualified, competent, and self –motivated individuals to fill the position of Procurement Officer.

Minimum Requirements

1. Be 25 year of age or above.

2. Holder of Diploma in Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution

3. Demonstrated proficiency and compliance in procurement systems and records management.

4. Have at least one (1) year relevant work experience in supply chain management.

5. Possess good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

6. Be of high integrity, able to meet deadlines and work under minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Preparing and implementing the school’s annual procurement plan.

2. Coordinating procurement processes in compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and related regulations.

3. Preparing tender documents, requests for quotations, and evaluation.

4. Managing supplier relationships and maintaining an updated supplier database.

5. Ensuring timely procurement of goods, works and services required by the school.

6. Receiving verifying and maintaining procurement records and documentation.

7. Monitoring contact performance and ensuring values for money.

8. Advising the school management on procurement and inventory management matters.

9. Coordinating stocks control and asset management activities.

10. Monitoring procurement reports and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

11. Supervising the disposal of obsolete and non-moveable assets in accordance with government regulations.

12. Performing any other duties assigned by the Principal from time to time.
