PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Summary:

Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality wood products, headquartered Kenya, with operations across East Africa, is seeking to hire a Production Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating labor and production resources, implementing quality control measures, managing production schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

Location: Nairobi - Enterprise Road | Salary: Ksh. 100,000 (gross)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials, equipment, and labor resources.
  • Monitor and adjust production plans as needed to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Lead and manage production supervisors, operators, and workshop support staff fairly & effectively.
  • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to achieve production targets.
  • Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations in liaison with HR Lead and identify opportunities for skill development.
  • Institute and lead the Quality Control & Assurance Committees.
  • Enforce strict quality control measures.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues and quality concerns in liaison with Directors and key team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain high stock accuracy.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits.

SALES TEAM LEADER - EASTERN REGION

General Purpose

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results driven Team Leader – Eastern Region to drive retail coverage, revenge growth, and execution sacellence. The role is responsible for leading Trade Representatives to ensure product availability, strong distributor partnerships, effective POSM visibility, and impactrul regional activations that translate into measurable business growth.

Gross Salary: Ksh. 70,000 - 100,000

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Regional Sales Growth Planning
  • Develop and execute regional, regional sales growth plans
  • Distributor Performance & KPI Management
  • Set and monitor distributor KPIs, provide, structured support, to ensure accountablig and market share growth.
  • Performance Evaluation & Corrective Action
  • Evaluate performance and corrective action to gipertimeances gays and root causes. Develop and implement SMART corrective action plans to close performance gaps.
  • BTL Planning & Regional Activations
  • Plan Below-The-Line activities and ensure timely and hign-quality execution of all scheduled activations.
  • Resource & Asset Management
  • Travel flexibility across the region (Ex. Power Point, outlook)
  • Team Support & Journey Plan Alignment.
  • Design and align journey plans to optimize route erfetency and retail coverage. Address operational challenges, ensure availability of tools of trade, and remove barriers affecting team productivity.
  • Reporting, Controls & Data Analysis
  • Analyze sales reports and control tools to identify performance gaps and maintained.
