JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications and experience

• An earned PhD Degree in Medicine or Public Health or its equivalent from an accredited University.
• Mmed in Psychiatry or equivalent Degree from an accredited and recognized University.
• At least three (3) years of university teaching experience as an Associate Professor
• Successfully supervised at least five (5) postgraduate students to completion of which two (2) should be at Doctoral level since being appointed as an Associate Professor.
• At least five (5) articles in refereed journals since being appointed as an Associate Professor
• Evidence of successfully applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as an Associate Professor.
• Evidence of attendance and contribution at learning conferences, seminars and workshops.
• Registration by the KMPDC with a valid practicing license.

Level of Education: bachelor degree

A competitive remuneration package which includes basic salary, house allowance, and medical cover as per University Scheme will be provided.

Tutorial Fellows are employed on one (1) year renewable contract up to a maximum of three (3) years.
