PROGRAM COORDINATOR CHILD PROTECTION
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Child Protection program activities, including the development and execution of work plans, budgets, and project activities.
- Collaborate with government departments, community structures, and partners to strengthen child protection systems
- Mobilize and empower communities to promote child protection and sustainable interventions.
- Build the capacity of Community Child Protection Committees, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project activities, collect data, and prepare timely technical and donor reports.
- Document project achievements, lessons learned, and success stories.
- Support proposal development, donor engagements, and organizational visibility initiatives.
- Promote meaningful participation of children, families, and community stakeholders in project implementation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Community Development. Child Protection, Sociology, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience implementing community-based child protection programmes.
- Sound knowledge of child protection systems, safeguarding, and community engagement.
- Experience working with government departments, community structures, and development partners.
- Strong communication, facilitation, report writing, fundraising and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
