PROGRAM COORDINATOR CHILD PROTECTION

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Child Protection program activities, including the development and execution of work plans, budgets, and project activities.
• Collaborate with government departments, community structures, and partners to strengthen child protection systems
• Mobilize and empower communities to promote child protection and sustainable interventions.
• Build the capacity of Community Child Protection Committees, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project activities, collect data, and prepare timely technical and donor reports.
• Document project achievements, lessons learned, and success stories.
• Support proposal development, donor engagements, and organizational visibility initiatives.
• Promote meaningful participation of children, families, and community stakeholders in project implementation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Community Development. Child Protection, Sociology, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience implementing community-based child protection programmes.
• Sound knowledge of child protection systems, safeguarding, and community engagement.
• Experience working with government departments, community structures, and development partners.
• Strong communication, facilitation, report writing, fundraising and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
