UDPK is seeking a qualified and results-oriented Program Officer to support the effective planning, implementation, and coordination of its programmes.
Responsibilities or duties
- Program planning and implementation
- Coordination with Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and other stakeholders
- Monitoring, reporting, and documentation
- Budgeting and programme support
- Supporting programme learning and continuous improvement
Qualifications or requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Project Management, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, Community Development, Disability Studies, or a related field.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Experience needed
- At least 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Project Officer or a similar role managing a dynamic program with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in Program cycle management including Design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Demonstrable experience working with diverse communities, stakeholders and community-based organisations using participatory methodologies.

This is an on-site role.
