Role Context

The Public Area Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition and aesthetic appeal of all public spaces within the hotel. This role is essential for ensuring a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our esteemed guests, contributing directly to the hotel's reputation for luxury and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and outdoor seating areas.
• Ensure all public restrooms are clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
• Empty trash receptacles in public areas and ensure proper disposal.
• Polish and clean furniture, fixtures, and decorative items in public spaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed in public areas to the supervisor.
• Assist with setting up public areas for events or special functions as required.
• Adhere to hotel standards for hygiene, safety, and guest service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment, is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
