Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

A Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Communication Studies, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Professional certification in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Digital Marketing, Strategic Communication, or Customer Relations will be an added advantage.

Sound knowledge of crisis communication, reputation management, and media engagement.

Strong customer service and patient relations skills.

Good understanding of healthcare communication, patient confidentiality, and professional ethical standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media management tools, and other communication and content management applications.

Excellent organizational, planning, and project coordination skills.

Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, prioritize competing assignments, and meet tight deadlines.

Experience needed

At least three (3) years' relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector.

Demonstrated experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement, event management, and corporate communications.

Experience managing digital communication platforms, including social media and website content management.

Proven ability to develop and implement strategic communication and public relations plans.

Experience preparing press releases, speeches, newsletters, annual reports, publications, and other corporate communication materials.
