Responsibilities or duties

We are seeking a motivated QA Testing Engineer to join the engineering team as a dedicated QA team member. This role will help establish and improve our QA processes while performing both manual and automated testing.

Qualifications or requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software QA (manual testing required)
• Basic experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation is a plus
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Experience needed

• Help define and document QA processes and testing workflows
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation
• Establish bug reporting standards and testing checklists
• Contribute to improving quality practices within the development lifecycle
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Validate new features before release
• Identify, document, and track defects clearly
• Work closely with developers to verify fixes
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Identify repetitive test cases suitable for automation
• Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct API testing where applicable
• Participate in sprint planning and requirement discussions
• Ensure acceptance criteria are testable and clear
• Advocate for product quality within the team
