A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer ensures software products are high-quality, functional, and meet user requirements before release by developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and verifying fixes.

Testing and Defect Management: Develop and execute detailed test plans, create test cases, and identify and document any bugs or defects in the software. Quality Standards: Ensure the software adheres to defined quality standards and user requirements. Process Improvement: Contribute to setting up and improving quality-related processes and tools within the development cycle. Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers to understand issues and ensure timely and effective resolution.
Testing Expertise: Proficiency in various testing methods, including black box, white box, and gray box testing, functional and non-functional testing, and test case creation. Technical Skills: A basic understanding of SQL is often helpful for database-related testing, and some roles require familiarity with automation tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Selenium. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and understanding user needs.
Bachelor's degree in related field A solid understanding of quality assurance principles, the software development life cycle (SDLC), and different testing techniques is crucial.
