Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and financial reports while ensuring alignment with interior design objectives.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for interior design projects.
  • Analyze design drawings and specifications to provide accurate estimates of materials, labor, and time requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to develop design concepts that are both aesthetically pleasing and cost-effective.
  • Create stylish and functional designs for residential and commercial spaces, incorporating client preferences and design trends.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and variations, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes for materials and services.
  • Provide expert advice on cost-saving measures and design optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Interior Designer in the interior design or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction processes, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and quantity surveying tools.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
