About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
  • Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  • Manage and reduce costs of the project.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims.
  • Perform risk, value management and cost control.
  • Advise on procurement strategy.
  • Track expenses and investments to ensure the project remains within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in quantity surveying.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management software.
  • The ability to create attention-grabbing technical documents.
  • Excellent knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all contracting activities and cost structures.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with araulics and other engineering disciplines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
