A renal nurse needs skills in patient care, clinical knowledge of kidney diseases, and strong communication abilities to perform responsibilities like patient assessment, dialysis, and education. 

Patient Care: Assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring kidney function and overall health. Treatments: Performing treatments, such as both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and administering medications and blood products. Education: Teaching patients and families about their kidney disease, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Coordination: Collaborating with other healthcare providers, like physicians and dietitians, to ensure coordinated care. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records. Compliance: Adhering to all relevant regulations, such as HIPAA, and departmental policies and procedures.

Written and oral communication skills in English & Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skill Excellent interpersonal skills. Creat team player who can collaborate with other Team members to offer the best outcomes to the patient. Ethical, Empathetic and patient centered. Ability to work under minimum supervision

A higher nursing Diploma, nephrology. A diploma in Nursing (KRCHN) A valid Nursing Council License. ACLS/BLS Training will be an added advantage. Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience as a renal nurse.
