To support the delivery of world class, patient-centric care, we are recruiting a highly motivated, visionary and result oriented Radiologist who will be responsible for reviewing. interpreting and reporting medical images in order to provide accurate diagnosis on patients' test results in line with established protocols and the Hospital's patient charter.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integrate imaging findings with patient history and clinical data to assess procedure appropriateness and support diagnostic accuracy.
  • Ensure all procedures are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with established clinical protocols, radiation safety standards, and infection control guidelines:
  • Provide comprehensive care before and after procedures, including obtaining informed consent, explaining risks and benefits, managing complications, and coordinating follow-up care;
  • Maintain meticulous, timely, and compliant documentation of procedures, diagnostic findings, and patient interactions in the Hospital Management System (HMS):
  • Drive quality assurance by collaborating with fellow physicians to improve diagnostic investigation:
  • Promote evidence-based, cost-effective use of imaging modalities and minimize patient discomfort and stress related to radiology imaging; and
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through participation in continuing medical education (CME). case reviews, and skills training in emerging techniques and technologies.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBCHB or MD from a recognized institution.
  • MMed (Radiology) from a recognized institution.
  • Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
  • Valid Practice License and specialist recognition.
  • Professional Insurance Indemnity Cover.
  • 2 years' post Master's experience.

DESIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
  • Proficient in the use of advanced interventional tools and image-guided technologies.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
