To ensure uninterrupted production by accurately planning, monitoring, and managing raw material requirements, optimizing inventory levels, and aligning with production schedules while minimizing costs and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute raw material plans in line with production forecasts.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock while avoiding excess and obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to align material availability with operational needs.
  • Generate and track purchase requisitions/orders based on demand planning.
  • Analyse suppliers lead times, order patterns, and consumption trends to improve planning accuracy.
  • Manage safety stock levels and recommend adjustments to prevent stock-outs.
  • Work with suppliers and procurement on delivery schedules and urgent requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on material status, usage, variances, and forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2–4 years) in material planning, production planning, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities across departments and with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other planning tools.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
